<p>Deputy Josie Greathouse Fox was fatally wounded on January 5, 2010 while conducting a traffic stop on a suspect vehicle. Deputy Fox is a five plus year veteran with the Millard County Sheriff&#8217;s Office. She is survived by her husband and two children. Our office is deeply saddened by this lose and appreciate all the calls and support we have received.</p>
<p>The Utah Law Enforcement Memorial offers its condolences to the family of Deputy Fox and her co-workers in and around Millard County.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On January 5, 2010 a Millard County Sheriff Deputy stopped a vehicle approximately one mile east of Delta on SR50 at 1 AM at the request of another Deputy.  The requesting Deputy was watching two suspicious vehicles in an area where we have had recent thefts.  The requesting Deputy watched a vehicle leave and requested the Victim Deputy to make a traffic stop and identify the occupants of the vehicle.  When the requesting Deputy arrived he found the Victim Deputy had been fatally shot.  This case is still under investigation.  The suspect is still at large and is identified as Roberto Miramontes Roman.  He is a 37 year old Hispanic male, 5*07*, 130 lbs., brown hair and brown eyes.  The vehicles this suspect may be in are a 1995 Cadillac Deville gray in color with Utah plate 713PAB, an orange colored Chevrolet Corvette or a maroon colored mid-sized SUV.  If this suspect or any of his vehicles are located please contact the Millard County Sheriff*s Office at 435-743-5302 or your local police agency.  The Millard County Sheriff*s Office is being assisted in the investigation by all the surrounding sheriff*s offices, Utah County Sheriff*s Office, the UHP, and other Law Enforcement Agencies.  Information will be released as it becomes available.  The below photo is of the suspect and was taken in 1997.</p>
